THE PRIMARY MISSION OF GOD'S REMNANT PEOPLE

The mission of every Christian for 2000 years has been to take the gospel to the world. But God is now calling for a final movement to come into existence for a special purpose. The primary mission of this movement is: “To let the gospel completely transform our lives in every respect, so that we can receive the seal of God and experience the latter rain.” Dennis Priebe, Amazing Facts Ministry. This total reformation includes our thoughts, words, actions, diet, lifestyle, and even our dress code in a particular righteousness by faith that works.

What is the seal of God? The seal of God is settling into the truth both intellectually and spiritually that we cannot be shaken from it. In other very important ways we are sealed when we are baptized, and the longest of the Ten Commandments includes God’s Name, Title and Territory, like a modern corporation’s seal. The seal of God is depicted in the Bible as being in the forehead (Ezekiel 9:4; Revelation 7:3; 14:1). Christ is waiting for His remnant people to be ready for His return in the mindset of the spirit. “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” Revelation 14:12. This includes ‘remembering’ the Bible Sabbath of the Fourth Commandment keeping the day holy that Jesus blessed and sanctified at creation and the day He rested even in death in Joseph’s sepulcher.

“Christ is waiting with longing desire for the manifestation of Himself in His church. When the character of Christ shall be perfectly reproduced in His people, then He will come to claim them as His own.” COL 69.1

If we receive the seal of God and the latter rain, our mission has been accomplished. The secondary mission of taking the gospel to the world with all power will be a natural outcome of the primary mission in the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. But on the other hand, if we take the gospel to the world baptizing millions into a nominal faith, and we do not receive the seal of God and the latter rain, then we have failed.

“To His faithful followers, Christ has been a daily companion and familiar friend. They have lived in close contact, in constant communion with God. Upon them the glory of the Lord has risen. In them the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ has been reflected. Now they rejoice in the undimmed rays of the brightness and glory of the King in His majesty. They are prepared for the communion of heaven; for they have heaven in their hearts.” COL 420.3

Take up your work appointed of God, medical missionaries. Withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly unless he repents and is converted. If you cling to any man and exalt him, and that man is not an honor to God, he will draw you into the net of his delusions. Let all medical missionaries break the spell, for it is a life-and-death question with you, and I am made the messenger of God to tell you this. By all the means of spiritual culture, through the Holy Spirit’s instruction, break away from men who have been sowing the seeds of doubt and infidelity in human minds and mingling in the tares with the wheat. I have the word from God that men, who are so ready to catch up new theories that people do not understand, lead to the undermining of faith, as Satan under the guise of a serpent undermined the faith of Adam and Eve in Eden. 21LtMs, Ms 130, 1906, par. 36
